Melissa and Family,

There are so many of my memories from Junior High and High School that include your wonderful family and especially Nannie. I will never forget walking into her house and being accepted as if I was family. Though many years have passed and I did not get to see her or you, you all have always been in my heart and will continue to be. I know she is in heaven because a soul as beautiful as hers would open those gates wide. Will continue to keep you all in my thoughts and prayers. I just wish that my daughter and husband could have met this wonderful woman and that family that she created.

Melissa and Poppa Sam, my heart is very heavy and my eyes filled with tears right now. The good memories (and there are lots of them) of Nannie will remain with me forever. May God comfort you at this very difficult time. Well written tribute/obituary was written. She was loved by many, and will be missed. Love you, I will keep you in prayer.
