Norma Jean Flint Johnson, 87, of Vinton, Virginia, passed away on Wednesday, December 14, 2022.
She was born on June 10, 1935, to the late Lonie and Dovie Flint. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Bill Johnson and her granddaughter, Brittney Johnson.
Surviving are her children, Kurt Johnson (Velshera), Kevin Johnson (Cindy), and Kara Harris (Deke); grandchildren, Alyssa Board (Eddie), Mallory Hicks (Thomas), Kiana Harbie (Khalil), Landon Johnson (Andi), Brennon Johnson (Kayla), Brianna McMillan (Jacob), Logan Bushong (Kalen), Madison Harris, and Nash Harris; and great-grandchildren, Makenzie, Aubrey, Kaylee, Raylynn, Tyler, Russell, Macie, Luca, Lawson, and Walker.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 6 until 8 p.m. on Friday, December 16, 2022, at Oakey's Vinton Chapel. The Funeral Service will be held at 12 noon on Saturday, December 17, 2022, at Oakey's Vinton Chapel. Interment will follow at Sherwood Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to Lynn Haven Baptist Church, Lottie Moon Christmas Offering, 1501 E. Washington Ave., Vinton, VA 24179. Online condolences may be expressed at www.Oakeys.com.
