Pamela Weaver Obituary

Pamela Deisher Weaver

June 26, 1970 - September 26, 2025

It is with deep sadness that I announce the passing of my daughter, Pamela Deisher Weaver (Pammie), who left us on Sept. 26, 2025, at 3:32 a.m., at the age of 55.

Born June 26, 1970, on her mother's birthday. Born and raised in Troutville, VA, where she lived most of her life and was so happy when she bought her own home in 2014, where she lived with her babies, Ellie and Snickers, who she cherished.

Pam lived her life on her own terms and valued her independence. She loved music, her family, and her babies. Her smile and loving manner will always be remembered. Pam passed with peace and dignity at her own home with her mom at her side.

To be a mom is the most precious gift that God can give you. I was blessed to be Pam's mother for 55 years. A joy, I valued every day. She was a bundle of 6.1 lbs and 19.5 in long, born on my birthday to celebrate together.

Pam was the daughter of the late Philip L. Deisher and Linda D. Deisher of Troutville, Va. She was preceded in death by her father, Philip L. Deisher, and maternal grandparents, Mary R. Kidd and Ibey N. Kidd; and paternal grandparents, Francis Elizabeth Deisher and James E. Deisher.

Pamela is survived by her mom, Linda D. Deisher of Troutville, VA; also her sister, Sherry D. Atkinson of Radford, VA; and two nephews, Jeb Bronson of Roanoke, VA, and Nicholas Hamilton of Roanoke, VA, along with his three sons, Lennon, Ledger, and Lynnox.

Pam was a sweet, passive young lady with a quiet personality. She loved her home and Snoopy & Woodstock because they were like she and her mom with loads of love. A bond that would last forever.

She will be missed by her mom, who will always remember the years of love, devotion, and the laughing and crying in the storms of life.

Pam was a graduate of Lord Botetourt High School.

Pam attended Hollins Road Baptist Church in Hollins, Virginia, with Pastor Mark Washington, who she loved to listen to on Bible study night.

Pam, you faced life and all its battles with courage and peace. You had so many storms in life, and you were everything I wish I could be. You were my "hero." Pam, everything I wish I could be. You were wind beneath my wings, my "Pammie." Until I meet you in heaven, my precious child, my baby, my daughter Pam. I held your hand daily until God took your hand and took you home.

Special thank you to Troutville Rescue Squad, Buchanan Rescue, and other rescue members who tried to save and revive Pam. God bless you all.

A graveside service for family and close friends will be held on Wednesday, October 8, 2025 at 2 p.m., in Shiloh Cemetery in Eagle Rock, VA.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Hollins Rd. Baptist Church and Troutville Fire Dept.
