December 19, 1953 - June 14, 2025
Patty Sue Hale, 71, of Salem, VA, passed away on Saturday, June 14, 2025.
Patty was a loving and caring person with a big heart. She was special in many ways and was a rock for her family. In her spare time, she enjoyed taking care of her plants and dancing. While she will be greatly missed, there is peace in knowing she is with the Lord in a better place.
Preceding her in death is a granddaughter, Brianna Nelson.
Her surviving family includes her former husband, Noah Hale Sr.; brother, Tim Flint (Tracey) and their son, Mikey; sisters, Brenda Beckner and Wanda Jennings; children, Tommy Hale (Debra), Lisa MacFarland, and Noah Hale Jr.; grandchildren, Candice King, Casey Raisten, Dustin Dudley, Brittany MacFarland, Chelsie Tunstall, Bradley Tunstall, Haleigh Hale, Emma White, Casey Hale, and Breana Nelson; and great-grandchildren, Caden, Liam, Brynleigh, and Bentley.
A period of visitation will take place on Thursday, June 19, 2025, from 6 to 8 p.m., at the John M. Oakey & Son Funeral Home in Salem, VA. A funeral service will be conducted on Friday, June 20, 2025, at 2 p.m., in the funeral home's chapel. Interment will immediately follow at Fairview Cemetery in Roanoke, VA.

I will miss her so much. Patty was very sick and stopped all cancer treatments to live out her life her way. miss talking to her and fixing food to take her when she was in the mood for it. She is now in heaven with Linda /Mom. Rest in peace. We all love you. Brenda
