I went to middle school with Samantha, and, although it has been almost 5 years since I last saw her, my heart has been aching ever since I heard the news. Judy, Eddie and Cathy and all the rest of the family, I am Cindy , Linda(Judy's Cousins daughter). I wanted to come to see you so bad , but I can tell you the worst thing in this world is to lose a child, and I KNOW that from the heart. My son passed away last year and it still hurts just as bad. I prayed for Samantha and until I saw Morgan didnt know it was family. I am so sorry, and if there is anything I can do anytime please dont hesitate to call me. It sometimes helps to talk to someone who truly knows how you are feeling. I can tell you that my Ryan is probably flirting with her right now and they are angels together. I went to high school with Samantha. Whenever I saw her walking down the hallway, at a game, or just around Bedford she always had a smile on her face. We were good friends at one point durin our high school career and I wish that I had cherished that more than I did. She was a beautiful person inside and out. She knew who she was and who she loved. I have been praying for her family everyday. I can't imagine what they are going through. God is taking care of her now and I pray that her family knows that.

When I moved to Bedford in 7th grade, Samantha was one of the first few people who helped welcome me. She always had a smile on her face, and made everyone around her laugh. I cannot express how much she helped me to become comfortable and feel welcome here and i will never forget her. she truly was a very special person and i will miss her so much. my prayers are with all the family and other friends. she will always be remembered.

I knew Sam only through my stepsons and when she worked at OIP in Bedford. She always had a smile, seemed to love life and appeared to have enjoyed it to its fullest. When I heard the news story about Samantha the first day I knew she had to be the daughter of someone I went to high school with. Though I have not seen any of the Bitler's since high school, 27 years ago, I was instantly taken back to those days and I have kept your family in prayer since the story broke. I went to school with Greg Bitler and knew of his brother and sister. I am so sorry for what you have been through not knowing where Samantha was and now for her tragic loss.
