Scott and I didn't keep in touch after high school but I thought about him often. I remember him as a great friend and a fun person to be around. I am not surprised at the outpouring of support for Scott, everything I read reminds me exactly of the Scott I knew back in school. He obviously lived his life as the same genuine person he was back then. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends.

Sorry to hear about Scott. I remember when Traci and the boys played together, Scott was the quiet one of the three. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

To Scott's Family,

Scott was the person at Virginia Western who convinced me I wanted to go to UVA as well. He was one of the kindest, gentlest people I have ever met. When I arrived at UVA a year after him he was like a father figure to me, and encouraged my success like no one else. When I graduate next year I will dedicate my diploma to Scott.

To Scotts Family.

I am thankful to have been able to get to know Scott while working with him at Source4. He is probably one of the truest and genuine persons I have even known. He will be missed and loved by all that knew him, but bigger than that, he will never be forgotten.

To know Scott is to love Scott and realize he was a special person. For myself and everyone blessed to know him...we are all better for it and that lives with us forever.

God Speed and God Bless!

I didn't know Scott well but what little I knew him back in school, he was a real good guy. The world is a bit poorer without him in it. You have my deepest condolences and my prayers. Scott, it was an honor to know you.

When I was a new student at Patrick Henry I had the great honor of meeting Scott May, a smile and a twinkle in his eye -he was a fast friend of mine. I had not talked to Scott in several years and then we reconnected. I cherish having been able to speak to him again and am grateful to have known him at all. He was truly one of the kindest, funniest, and sweetest people I have ever met. I did not know his family but I thank you for the wonderful gift you gave us all for the short time we had with him.

To Scottie's family...

Please know how deeply saddened we are by his death. He worked for my husband, Don and partner, Dave at Freedom Auto Sales. We loved his smile and determination! His dream of a degree from Virginia was so close! We shared in his love of UVA and was looking so forward to being at his graduation!

I had the pleasure of knowing Scott for 28 years, full of special memories! The last time I was with Scott, he held my hand as my father was taking his last breaths. You will always be an angel to me, my children and extended family. We will have that graduation party in your honor this May!! My prayers and love go out to your mother, father and family.
