Terry Thompson Obituary
November 6, 1950 - June 30, 2024
Terry Wayne Thompson, 73, of Roanoke, Va., passed from this life and entered his eternal home in Heaven on Sunday, June 30, 2024.
He graduated from William Fleming High School and went on to receive his bachelor's degree from Mars Hill University. Terry was a member of Belmont Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his father, Douglas G. Thompson.
Terry is survived by his mother, Eleanor E. Thompson; sister and brother-in-law, Jann and Bruce Tunnell; two nephews, Ryan Tunnell and his wife, Becca, and Ross Tunnell; several cousins; and other extended family.
The family would like to thank the staff at Friendship North and Good Samaritan Hospice for the excellent care they provided Terry.
A private family service will be held at Sherwood Memorial Park. Condolences may be shared with the family at www.Oakeys.com.

I remember Terry most from the family Picnic each summer. We, all the kids, would run, play and eat as much as we wanted. Occasionally meeting at Aunt Kate's or Grandpa Eanes. Highs ice cream was some times involved. May God give him love and peace.
