I am so sorry to just learn about Tommy's passing. We lived next door to the Higgs for 15 or more years and grew up with them. It was always a joy to go over to their house; I always thought that their parents were gentle people and, for a small kid, their dad had the biggest arms I had ever seen. May his memory be a blessing and his service to our country always remembered.

Tommy and I served together in Army Reserves. He was a dedicated NCO and a very decent person. He made the world a better place.

Tommy was simply a really down to earth nice guy. Great smile and always had time to talk to you. I know June is happy he´s with her now and so many of us will miss them both dearly. Glad to have had him and June as friends, and they both made their mark in the world and touched so many people. I feel they both are very happy right now.

Tommy was such a special person and friend to me. He was probably my only male friend and protector I had during our wild times. June was also a true friend but I was probably closer to Tommy. We went out one night when he returned from Viet Nam and he painted such a verbal picture of Viet Nam that I still carry in memory bank. You were the pride and joy of your parents. They both are greatly missed by all who was fortunate enough to have been blessed with their friendship. So sorry I will be out of town for the memorial service. My heart and prayers will be with you.
