May your hearts be filled with wonderful memories of Tim as you continue to grieve. There are many great times to remember. I knew Tim a very long time. He was a good friend. He was great dad who loved his children very much. I am so sorry for your loss. My prayers are with all of you as you heal.

Dana and Dale, I can only imagine the pain involved with losing one's child, since I am not a parent myself. My parents lost their youngest child of six, my younger brother Danny, to AIDS in 1994. He would have been 51 this year, and I know that my 85 year old mother (my father passed away in 1999 at the age of 80) still mourns his loss. But the passage of time has brought her and the rest of Danny's family some measure of peace, and I hope that it will do the same for you.

I was only briefly acquainted with you over 20 years ago, but I thought of you recently when I spent a couple of days in Floyd. We stayed one night at the Hotel Floyd, and I would enthusiastically recommend it to you if you haven't already stayed there. We visited my grandfather's cousin, Glenna Slusher Weddle (now 83), and her husband, Wilbur Weddle (now 87). I recall you saying once that you knew Glenna and Wilbur, Dale. "Terry Dale" Slusher is their nephew.

I am glad that you two have one another, especially now.

Benny, Suzanne, Dawn and families-
There are no words to express my sadness right now. I will always remember all the good times we all had on Maywood Drive. Dawn and I would come into Benny's bedroom and sit on her bed to look at Avon books while she was separating orders, and Tim would be running around getting into them as fast as she would get them ready. I remember when Suzanne moved her bedroom downstairs, and Dawn finally got her bedroom all to herself upstairs! I remember coming to one of Tim's birthday parties and bringing him a metal dump truck of some sort...I think he was 7 or 8. I was around 9 years old- not too keen on other boys just yet but I knew he was special!! I was so happy to be giving him a gift, because if truth be told I had a little crush on him around that time. :) My mom always talked about how all of the "Drew kids run around in the wintertime without shoes and they'd never get sick, but you let LouAnn breathe in one breath of cold air and she has bronchitis." She loved all those Drew kids!! Yes, there are many, many memories. Please hold those memories close, and each other closer, and you will be able to carry on. I am praying for you all, and for Ragen and Mason. I know that God will wrap His arms around you if you just let Him. If there is anything I can do for you, please let me know.
