January 16, 1960 - October 2, 2025
Timothy Roy Palmer Frith, age 65, of Boones Mill, Va., passed away Thursday, October 2, 2025, at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital after a long illness. Tim was born January 16, 1960, in Rocky Mount, Va.
Tim graduated from Franklin County High School in 1978 and pursed a career as an automotive mechanic until his career was interrupted due to illness.
Tim was preceded in death by his paternal father, John Thomas Palmer, (JT); his mother, Julia Ann Frith; his adopted father, Garvice Frith; his sister, Arlene Ray; and his brother, Ervin Frith.
Tim is survived by his three brothers, Terry Palmer (Judy), Glenn Frith (Linda) and Lynn Frith (Charlene); several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at Flora Funeral Chapel, 665 S. Main Street, Rocky Mount, VA 24151, 2 p.m. Tuesday, October 7, 2025, with Dr. Dave Peterson officiating. His family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the American Kidney Fund or The National Kidney Foundation.
