Timothy Snyder Obituary
July 25, 1955 - April 23, 2025
Timothy B. Snyder, 69, of Buchanan, VA, passed away on Wednesday, April 23, 2025. He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Sr. and Virginia Snyder, and brother, George Snyder.
Tim was a 1973 graduate of Stonewall Jackson High School in Mount Jackson, VA. He was a 1977 graduate of Virginia Military Institute (VMI) in Civil Engineering and went on to serve in the United States Army Reserves. He started, owned, and operated Morco Construction Company, Inc. for over 30 years. While construction was his first passion, farming was his second.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Glenda M. Snyder; brother and sisters-in-law, Thomas Jr. and Christine Snyder of Elizabethtown, KY, and Teresa Snyder of Huntsville, AL; nephews, Stuart (Abby), Stephen (Kira) of Georgetown, KY, Walker (Mandy) of Somerville, AL and Hunter (Paige) of Argyle, TX; and great-nephews and great-nieces, Clark, Shepard, Sara Kate, and Bennett; Blair and Caroline; Raylon and Myla Mae; Sophia Elizabeth and Camille Grace.
Visitation will be held from 1 to 2 p.m. with the memorial service at 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 10, 2025, in the Buchanan Chapel of Botetourt Funeral Home.
