Vickie Gail Puffenbarger Newton, 64, of Roanoke passed away Tuesday, November 5, 2024 at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital.
A funeral service will be held 2 p.m., Monday, November 11, at Obaugh Funeral Home, McDowell.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

To Vickie's family and friends, my prayers are with you always. How wonderful to have met Vickie at Friendship during my wife Judy's stay. We talked about the good times during the maple festivals we attended. What a great loss to all who knew this wonderful woman.

Sending my condolences to the family!! I sure will miss talking to Miss Vickie. Always enjoyed visiting her!! I worked at Friendship and we became good friends!! After retiring I still came to visit and we would always have a good laugh!!
