Robert E. Santen
Robert E. Santen, II, passed unexpectedly at his home on Monday, February 5th.
Robert grew up in Sterling, Va, the son of Robert E. Santen and the late Grace (Newman) Santen. Robert, who turned dreams into homes with his own hands, built more than just houses; he crafted spaces where memories could thrive, starting from the ground up. His work, leaving a tangible mark across Virginia and North Carolina communities. He lived his life with a deep commitment to his carpentry and a big heart for his family, always moving forward with a bold spirit and a playful attitude.
He leaves behind a loving family: his children, Brittany Patel and Robert Santen, III; his wife, Dorothy Locklear McNeill, and formerly, Yvonne Santen; his father, Robert Santen; and his siblings, Dianne Santen, Cheryl Pitt, Michael Santen, with Jackie Madden preceding him in death. His granddaughters, Aubrey Patel and Liv Wright.
The family will be honoring him in a private ceremony.
