In 2020, she moved to Michaud Manor, a residential care home in Derby Line where she became a part of a family of the heart making many new friends amongst the staff and residents. She had a sharp mind, an excellent sense of humor, loved to laugh and dance, and was a very generous soul. Her sense of fashion and love of the color pink earned her the nickname “Pinkie”.

Alberta and I became friends the minute she came to live at Michaud Manor. We shared many jokes and stories. She will always be one of my favorite residents from my years working at Michaud.❤

Alberta was an angel on earth. Met her because she was a friend of my parents in senior housing. Kept in touch with cards and letters. I send you my condolences on your loss. She was a very special lady. Will always remember her kindness and love.

I didn't know her for long or very well, but I would see her often at Michaud Manor. I remember being Santa Claus and giving her gifts at the Christmas party and her attending a couple of our gospel concerts. Our hearts and prayers are with you.
