Annette Michelle McCarthy

Annette Michelle McCarthy, 62, of Grottoes, passed away on Thursday, March 13, 2025. She was born on August 7, 1962 to the late Herman E. and Claudia McCarthy. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Steven McCarthy. Annette had a passion for cooking, but also loved having long talks with her family, where she was happy to tell them about her many, many talents. She will be missed dearly by all who knew her and had the privilege of being in her company. Annette is survived and remembered deeply by daughters Brandy McCarthy, Danielle McCarthy, Katy Keller McCarthy, Brianna McCarthy; brothers, Kelvin McCarthy, Herman McCarthy and wife, Brenda, and Aaron McCarthy; sisters, Donna McCarthy, Sherry Haston and husband, Gary, Cynthia McCarthy, Kim Johnson and husband, Doobie, Tressa Armstead and husband, Herbert, six grandchildren, four nephews, and seven nieces who all love her dearly. A memorial service will be held on Monday, March 17, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. at Mt. Moriah United Methodist Church located 708 6th Steet, Grottoes, Virginia.
