Phillip Davenport Obituary
NASHVILLE - Phillip Leon Davenport, 71, passed away October 7, 2018. He was born April 19, 1947 in Martin County to the late Elbert and Grace Price Davenport. He loved his family, hunting, and fishing. Phil also loved the people at Red Oak Baptist Church. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by a brother, Truman Davenport.
Phil is survived by his wife Victoria Davenport; son, Daniel Davenport (Terry); daughter; Teresa Kao (Steve); brother, Ken Davenport; sister, Jeannette Coppedge (Dal); grandchildren, Caleb, Bethany, Micah, Jeremy (Kristina), Connor and Alston; and great grandchild, Kate.
A funeral service will be held Wednesday, October 10, 2018 at 11:30 AM at Red Oak Baptist Church with Rev. Chris Fowler officiating. A visitation with family and friends will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Sunnyside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Red Oak Baptist Church, 5515 Red Oak Road, Red Oak, NC. 27868.
