Robert Wilson "Bob" Hedgepeth Rocky Mount - Robert Wilson Hedgepeth (Bob), age 76, passed away on Wednesday, December 13, 2023. Born in Greene County, NC on May 19, 1947, he was the son of the late Herman Lee and Llewellyn Harris Hedgepeth. He was preceded in death by his sisters and brothers-in-law Elma and Wilbur Bowen, Margaret and Larry Jones, and brother and sister-in-law B.F. and Linnie Rae Hedgepeth.

In 1988 Bob purchased a small tax and accounting business. Over the years the business has grown to encompass 2 offices in Rocky Mount and Kenly and is a close-knit family business that he was very proud of. He thoroughly enjoyed serving the community in this capacity for over 35 years. Bob was well respected in the community for his honesty and impartiality in his business practices.

Bob was best known as one of Jehovah's Witnesses having been an active member since his baptism in 1959 at the age of 12. He enjoyed teaching others the Bible and took advantage of every opportunity to comfort and help others from the Scriptures even throughout his illness. His family and his worship of Jehovah God were the two most important things in his life.

Robert is survived by his wife of 58 years, Carolyn Hedgepeth, a son Richard Paul Hedgepeth (wife Denise), a daughter Melissa Ramirez (husband Luis), one grandson Robert Parker Ramirez and numerous nieces and nephews and special friends.

A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, December 23, 2023, at 4:00 PM at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 1830 Old Mill Rd, Rocky Mount, NC. You may also join virtually through Zoom using Meeting ID 898 3247 8543 and Passcode: 422422
