Beth Ann Newberry

1979 - 2022

Mrs. Elizabeth Ann "Beth Ann" Roach Newberry, age 43, of Rome, GA, passed away on Friday, August 26, 2022.

Beth Ann was born in Atlanta, GA, on July 20, 1979, daughter of Ronnie Roach and Theresa Musselwhite Myers. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandmother, Ruth Roach. Beth Ann was a graduate of Pepperell High School where she was Homecoming Queen runner-up. She was a homemaker who loved her 2 animals, Rosie and Lyla, and was always up for shopping whenever the opportunity presented itself. Beth Ann was an avid writer in her journal and loved her Bible. She was of the Church of God faith.

Survivors include her husband, Chris Newberry, Rome; 2 children, Brooklyn Shuler and Baleigh Key, both of Adairsville; her father, Ron Roach (Reeca); her mother, Theresa Myers; her brother, DeLane Roach; a niece, Destyn Popham; and 3 nephews, Chase Jones, Hayden Potts and Easton Roach.

Funeral services will be held at 1pm on Thursday, September 1, 2022, in the Chapel at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, South Chapel, with Chaplain David Thornton officiating. Interment will follow in East View Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Thursday from 11am until service time at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, South Chapel.

Pallbearers are to assemble by 12:30pm on Thursday at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, South Chapel, and include: Chris Newberry, DeLane Roach, Clifton Dodd, Tommy Dean, Michael Ingram, Brian Dyer, Daniel Urano, Chris Dumas, David Dumas and Jeffrey Elmore.
