Bradley Ray Obituary
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Jere D. Hicks and his paternal grandfather, Paul Ray.
Brad was a member of Mt. Tabor Church.
Survivors include his daughter, Sophia Elizabeth Ray of Cedartown, GA, parents, Susan and John Miller and Doug and Rebecca Ray, his sister, Erica (Alex) Mejia of Armuchee, GA, and two grandmothers, Dora Hicks and Ellen Ray. He is also survived by his niece, Emma Mejia, a special friend, Breelynn Waters, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Brad was a talented musician, singer, and songwriter. He loved skateboarding and surfing. But more than anything else, he loved spending time with his daughter. She was the light of his life and he loved her more than anything in the world.
Brad will leave behind a legacy because he chose to be an organ donor. Because of his kind heart and soul, four people will continue to live.
Funeral service will be held 5 p.m. Saturday, March 26, in the Wilbanks Memorial Chapel with Rev. Dr. Dale McConkey officiating.
Interment at LaFayette City Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Dylan White, Brian Rogers, Alexander Stevens, Lee Clark, Casey Liles, and Andrew Babcock.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Saturday prior to the service from 3 p.m. until hour of service.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Brad's memory to a local animal shelter.
Arrangements are by Wallis-Wilbanks Funeral Home, LaFayette.
