Glenda Bozeman Obituary

Mrs. Glenda Sue Bozeman, age 80, of Cave Spring, Georgia, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 18, 2025, at a local hospital.

Glenda was born in Floyd County, Georgia, on March 27, 1945, daughter of the late Paul Pruitt and the late Frances Cromer Pruitt. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Peggy Myers. Mrs. Bozeman was a member at Live Oak Baptist Church, and she worked for a number of years as a custodian at Floyd College, now Georgia Highlands College. She loved cooking, crocheting, and sewing, but her favorite past time was spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband of 19 years, Lucius Wayne Bozeman; her children, Gina Kisor (Mike), Dondra Trotter (Dwayne), and Sammy Shumate (Fay Roland); several grandchildren, and great grandchildren also survive.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, August 21, 2025, at 11:00am, in the chapel at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, South Chapel, with Rev. Rick Jennings and Terry Caldwell officiating. Interment will follow in Cave Spring Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, August 21, 2025, at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, South Chapel from 10:00am until the hour of service.

Pallbearers are asked to assemble at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, South Chapel, on Thursday, by 10:30am and include Dwayne Trotter, Mike Kisor, Justin Holder, Steve Pruitt, Robert Godfrey, and Bobby Winters.

Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, South Chapel, is honored to serve the family of Mrs. Glenda Sue Bozeman.
