Richard Yadkowski Obituary

Mr. Richard Lee Yadkowski, age 50, of Mt. Berry, Georgia passed away on Sunday, January 12, 2025, at a local hospital.

Richard was born in Baltimore, Maryland on June 15, 1974, son of Doug Bowling and Julie Hathaway Bowling. He was a full-time house parent with WinShape Homes. Richard was a member and Elder of Northside Church. He loved the Lord with all his heart and was a true man of God and prayer warrior. Richard was a member of Gideons International. He was a true outdoorsman and loved hunting, fishing, and skiing. He loved the Georgia Bulldogs. Richard was preceded in death by a brother, Michael Smarr, his grandparents, Truett & Jeanette Cathy, his fathers-in-law, Larry Adams and Paul Loveless, and his stepmother-in-law, Carol Adams.

Survivors include his wife, Stephanye Adams Yadkowski; children, Samuel, Anna Kate, and Julia Yadkowski, Shannon (Edwin), Mary, Ryan (Jazmine), Meghan, Joshua, Nichole (Eric), Gabby (Micah), Daylan, Clayton (Lexy), Andrew, Eric, Tate, Bailey, Jonathan, and Abel; his parents, Doug & Julie Bowling; 6 grandchildren; a brother, Rick Hanson (Jenn); dozens of siblings he grew up with at the Bowling's home; his mother-in-law, Lynne Loveless; grandparents, Duaine & Diane Hathaway; grandmother-in-law, Betty Kelly; many aunts, uncles and other relatives.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 16, 2025, at 2pm at Northside Church with Pastor Brad Prater and Pastor Phil Wade officiating. Interment will follow in Oaknoll Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends at Northside Church on Thursday from 11am until 1:45pm.

Pallbearers are asked to assemble at the church on Thursday at 1:30pm and include Active: Brad Reeder, Scott Wood, Chris Tate, Danny McGee, Dewayne McGee, Rob Davis, Jonathan Whitley, and Drew Burnett. Honorary: David Henderson & the Elders of Northside Church

In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to Gideons International or Northside Church Building Fund.

I met Richard in college and was privileged to attend his and Stephanie´s wedding. I am sad to hear of his passing; he was a great man who we will be terribly missed.

Stephanie, please know that I offer my deepest condolences to you and your family and will be praying for you and your family.
