I am so sorry about your families loss. Chris was a wonderful person with a kind heart. He had a smile that could light up the room. When he lived down in Poughkeepsie I enjoyed our visits and will especially remember that trip to six flags where he talked me into going on the superman roller coaster, even though I am not a roller coater person. He had that way of smiling and I just did it. Will I do it again, no, but Chris made me feel safe even though I screamed and closed my eyes the whole way. Since he moved upstate, I have enjoyed being able to write back and forth and always had a huge grin on my face when a letter came from Warner NY. He will be missed.

May God bless Chris, his family and friends at this time of sorrow. I knew Chris as I also worked at the NYSDOT. I only worked directly with Chris occasionally over the years, but he had a way of making me smile whenever I showed up in his teams group. Often he would say something like "oh no, here is that Marty guy, this can:t be good.". Followed by his ever present smile. I will miss him and have him in my prayers.
