I was so saddened to hear of my Friends passing. The memories we shared flooded through my thoughts. Dan and I both were born in November, I was 20 days older, but he always told me he was told it was his job to watch over me. We lived with one house between us, we went to same school, rode the same bus, sat in seats near each other he with Doug Ouderkirk and me with Anita Davis. We went to Sunday school, youth fellowship group, choir, and church. We even played a married couple in an Old Home Day play. We went snowmobiling, bike riding, he drove us to school, we joined NY state Grange. He even stood up as an usher in my first marriage. He was such a large part of my life and I am thankful for the love and wonderful memories we shared. I know he is at rest, in no pain and is with his loving parents and our friend Anita so he is not alone. Terri and Bobby, I know how hard this is on both of you, you have both been there to assist him throughout his illness and he appreciated your care and love. He certainly will be missed but left all of us memories. My thoughts, love and prayers are with you as you grieve.
