Jeanette Cascarella-Harosia Obituary
Jeanette F. Cascarella-Harosia, 78, of Rome, NY, passed away on Thursday, August 7, 2025, at Wynn Hospital.
She was born in Germany, on July 2, 1947, daughter of the late Nicholas and Frances Cascarella. Jeanette attended Rome Schools and earned a B.A. Degree in History from Utica College of Syracuse University. She was united in marriage to Dennis D. Harosia in Clinton, NY. Jeanette was a substitute teacher for various school districts in the area.
Jeanette enjoyed baking and sewing. She was a devout Catholic and an active member of the R-Cats Program, as she had a great love for all animals.
Surviving besides her husband, Dennis; is a brother, Nicholas G.A. Cascarella, Jr., of San Diego, CA; two sisters, Sharon Glass and her husband, John P. Glass, of Syracuse, NY and Roberta Cascarella, of Rome, NY; and family in Germany and in Italy.
Jeanette is predeceased by her parents, Nicholas and Frances; and a sister, Karen Cascarella.
Services are private. There are no calling hours.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions, in Jeanette's name, may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Shriners Hospital, R-Cats Program or Humane Society of Rome.
