Kim Clark Obituary

Kim R Clark, 48, of Lee Center, passed away unexpectedly Saturday April 22,2023. She was born In Oneida NY on November 24, 1974, a daughter of the late Elwood and Phyllys

(Champion) McDougall. She was a 1992 graduate of South Lewis High School. On November 27, 1999, she was united in marriage to Gene "Smoke" Clark Jr. and went on to raise 7 children together.

Kim was currently an LPN at Suny Upstate Medical Center and was formally a long-time support staff of NYS DDSO. She has been employed by the state for 20+years. Kim was also attending, Mohawk Valley Community College, full-time to pursue her longtime dream of becoming, a Registered Nurse. While at MVCC Kim achieved several awards and scholarships,

the most recent award Kim was honored to receive was "The Professional & Businesswoman of Rome" award.

Kim was a member of Abundant Life Church of Syracuse. She loved bringing her grandchildren with her to church on Sundays. Kim had several things she enjoyed doing throughout the years, including spending time with her family, and enjoying boat rides with her husband. Anyone that knew Kim knew she was a selfless person who would go out of her way to help anyone that was in need.

Surviving beside her was her loving husband of 24 years, Gene, her four daughters, Stephanie Lewis (Kayheem), Samantha Simmons, Shelby Clark (Makhi), and Kiana Clark (Savion); three

sons, Jason Simmons (Angela), Keshawn Clark and Kenyan Clark; three sisters, Teri McDougall (Gary), Paula Hoffert (Allan) and Kristy McDougall (Eric) and a brother Elwood McDougall Jr (Kayla); she has a total of 20 grandchildren and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Monday May 1st at 11:00 am at St Mathews Temple Church. 110 Washington St., Utica NY 13502. Her Burial will take place at Evergreen Cemetery. Family and Friends are invited to call at Nunn Harper Funeral Home, Inc 418 N George St Rome, NY 13440 on Sunday April 30th from 2-5pm.
