My name is Levi, (like Bernie) I worked with Matt at the turning Stone Warehouse. Like everyone who worked with Matt, we became fast friends. It was always good to be around Matt. As soon as he saw you he´d call out your name and "Good Morning" or "How´s it going". He was able to brighten up the room with his personality. He was always amicable and kind. He had a natural friendliness that was just great to be around.

Matt was always kind and friendly and treated everyone with respect. I don´t think there was a soul in that whole company that didn´t genuinely love Matt. He was unlike any young man I think I´ve ever known. He was a ball of energy and as soon as he got to work he hit the floor running. Not only did Matt do everything with extreme proficiency and speed, he did it with a smile on his face. Which anyone can tell you isn´t the easiest task when you´re at work. Matt was something else entirely though. He was everyone´s favorite teammate.

He´d finish up doing what ever task he had and he´d walk right up to you and ask if there was anything he could help you with. He was always helping everyone he could as often as he could. You couldn´t have designed a better team mate.

He was part of our Sunday crew. There were only three of us, something we take pride in (whether justified or not is up for debate). It didn´t matter what came our way though, we found a way to get it done and keep smiling. We´d end our days with a lunch break we´d take together. We´d set up a table, gather around it and just talk about anything and everything.

I remember when he went to take his electrician courses and how he beamed with pride when he graduated the course. We were proud of him, it´s no easy feat to work full time and then take on classes on top of that. That was another wonderful thing about Matt. He was really happy for you when good fortune came your way. He was excited for you and happy that you were happy. He was a genuinely kind person.

Matt was a good friend, an excellent team mate and good man. The world doesn´t have enough good men. It never will have enough. It cannot have enough, we´ll always have room for one more. To lose a man as good, kind, affable and hard working as Matt is devastating for us all. It´s a loss for everybody. Everyone here is better for having known Matt. Everyone should be lucky enough to have had a friend like Mayworld´s a bit darker without him. Rest in Peace brother. We´ll do our best without you and look forward to the next time we meet.
