Sean Matthew McNally

Sean Matthew McNally, 39, of 39 Brookside Drive, Lee Center, passed away, in Columbus, OH, on July 27, 2025.

Sean was born to Kevin and Mary "Middi" Sherman McNally on July 4, 1986. He was a Journeyman, for 22 years, for Local 123 Tampa, FL, where he distinguished himself as a detailer teaching others the art of his craft.

Sean touched the lives of so many people with his big heart, big smile and his big hugs. Sean loved music and often traveled across the country to see his favorite bands. He recently had the chance to visit Ireland.

He could count many friends and if Sean was your friend, you had a great one. The world is a darker place without Sean in it. His friends have remembered him as "the real deal" and as a person who would stand his ground.

Sean is survived by his father, Kevin McNally, of Lee Center; his sister, Kelly, of Lee Center; brother, Dan McNally; niece, Rozlynn McNally; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was predeceased by his mother, Mary "Middi" McNally, in 2022.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, at 11 a.m., at Mary Mother of our Savior Church, Lourdes Campus, 2222 Genesee St., Utica, where a Funeral Mass will be celebrated. Interment will be in Forest Hill Cemetery, Utica. The family will greet everyone following the Mass. A life celebration will take place in September in St. Petersburg, FL.
