William Gifford Obituary
Bill was a devout Catholic, a long term parishioner of St. Paul's parish in Whitesboro.
Bill enjoyed fishing and boating, was a member of the American Legion Parkhurst post, and after retirement dabbled in woodworking, and enjoyed traveling with his wife.
Bill leaves behind his wife of 43 years Mary (née Jeff) daughter Amy (Derek) Arnold , son Matthew (Elizabeth) Gifford, cherished grandchildren William, Victoria, Benjamin, Samuel and Frederick. He also leaves behind sisters Ann Gifford, Carol (Brian) Donohoe, brother Walter "Scott" Gifford, niece Kimberly (Edward) Donohue as well as nephew Sean (Kyanne) Donohoe.
A mass of Christian burial will be held at St. Paul's church in Whitesboro on Monday February 19, at 9:30 AM. Interment will be in Oriskany Cemetery in the spring.

I was the Store Manager at Dollar General in Oriskany for a few years. Bill was a "regular" shopper. A very pleasant guy. He will be missed greatly but our Father in Heaven has him now.
