I remember family holidays, Clem, his mom Louise Daniels, his sister - my mom, Mary Daniels Hickson, and his grandmother, Mary Johnson, all together, enjoying the holidays, being together. The holidays were important in my family, and Clem loved to tell stories of growing up in McKinney. He was a serious man with a wonderful sense of humor and a great laugh. I can still remember his laugh. I miss it; I miss you.

Clem was a kind, gentle and loving man. He had enough love for his family and friends. He didn't fall short or run out. Clem was a man of CHARACTER. He could even be funny and he could cook, too. I'm so thankful and grateful that God gave us to each other. He was more than just my husband, he was my best friend, as I was his. Clem didn't meet strangers because they soon became friends. His voice was strong, his laugh was contagious and his smile could light up a room. He had a heart of gold. For over 19 years, we kissed every morning and told each other, "I love you". Even, if I had rocks in my jaws, he would make me smile by saying, "Babe, you better come over here little woman and give me some sugar." And, that was all I needed to make my day. There are no words that can describe, how much I miss him. We did everything together. But there is comfort in knowing where he is. Clem is in heaven and I won't be surprise, if he isn't up there making suggestions. Because of God's grace, I can't complain because I was blessed to have Clem in my life. Thankful for so many memories and precious moments. And most of all I'm thankful for the feeling I get every now and then when God allows a gentle breeze to blow over me. Just a reminder, I will see my Clem, again.

Clem was my high school gym teacher at Skyline. I admired him and looked forward every school day to spend my gym period with him. My father (Sarge) came to know Clem and helped him in some real estate transactions. A wonderful man, greatly admired by many and a joy to be around

Clem Daniels Liquor Store was right around the corner from my house on 102nd and E. 14th St. Mr Daniels use to give me free ice & juice and gave me much valued advice/encouragement in my guest to be a great Football Player. Mr Daniels was a humble man with a great heart I will miss him dearly. RIP HALL OF FAMER

i have never seen cem denials play .i became an oakland raider fan in 1968, the year he was released by the team and he finished his pro football career with the san francisco 49ers. he was a great player for the raiders, a great running back i called him the raiders' first superstar. my thoughts, prayers and condolences go out for his family and for the raider fans who watched this great player over the years and for the city of oakland who remember him as an outstanding person in the community.

My condolences to the family. I never met Mr. Daniels personally. I only knew him from watching him play for the Raiders. I saw him many times on TV and maybe ten times in person at the old Municipal Stadium in KC. I always respected his ability and toughness. I believe he played with Hewitt Dixon and what a great tandem they were! May God bless his soul and his family.

Clem moonlighted as my golf coach at Skyline H.S. in 1963-4, and by chance later became a member at Mira Vista Golf and C.C. where we met again, as I was a PGA Assistant Pro there from 1972-2010. He always brightened my day when he came into the shop and always addressed me with a hearty greeting. I was wondering recently how his health was, given his debilitating football-related injuries that necessitated his leaving the club. Not knowing enough about any services I might attend is troubling. He was one of my all time fave members and I'll miss him!

Clem and my Uncle Lewis Hodge were good friends. They were both Prairie View alumni and both hard working entrepreneurs in Oakland. I know the two are together in heaven. Condolences to the Daniels family.

Clem, I will miss your big bright smile, and how you would talk about Marvin Upshaw when I came by the End Zone to visit him. You would say, "I know you're not coming by to see that big ugly man" and I would answer yes, my daughter, his God-daughter Bianca is in town from college and I'm bringing her by to see him. Then you would reply, "How does he get all the pretty women." Then we would all laugh. May you rest in paradise and say hello to Gene from "Home Girl"
