BARBARA ANN BOSCHI, 80 ROCKFORD - Barbara Ann Bos-chi, 80, of Rockford died at 9:50 a.m. Sunday, April 6, 2008, in Rockford Memorial Hospital. Born Jan. 31, 1928, in Oshkosh, Wis., the daughter of Dr. George A. and Edna R. Steele. Barbara lived in Rockford since 1986, coming here from Aurora. She married Charles C. Boschi in Oshkosh on Dec. 27, 1950. Barbara was a member of St. Peter's Cathedral. She loved to play bridge. She was a member of St. Anthony's Auxiliary Hospital Bridge Club, St. Peter's Marathon Group, the Third Source Income Group at St. Peter's Cathedral and volunteered at Mercy Center in Aurora. Survivors include daughters, MaryAnn (Dennis) Niebuhr of Sun Prairie, Wis., and Susan Lisa (Greg) Barisa of Rockford; grandchildren, Jon Niebuhr (fianc‚e, Alicia Albertson), Thomas Niebuhr, Jeffrey Niebuhr, Stephanie Barisa and Katherine Barisa; great-grandchildren, Alyssa Niebuhr, Mya Simms, Aviah Niebuhr and Carson Bongard; and nephew, Dr. James D. (Yolanda) Moon of the state of Oregon. Predeceased by parents; and husband. Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, April 9, in St. Peter's Cathedral, with visitation from 9:30 a.m. to time of service; Father Kevin Butler will officiate.
