IANTHA BELLE KEIFLING, 83 LOVES PARK - Iantha Belle Keifling, 83, of Loves Park died Sunday, May 4, 2008, in Swedish American Hospital. Born Dec. 14, 1924, in Queen City, Mo., the daughter of Mike and Etta (Logston) Coons. Married Robert L. Keifling on Dec. 29, 1961, in Belvidere. She was a longtime member of North Park Covenant Church. She loved spending time with her family at the farm in Missouri. She loved the Lord and loved to read her Bible. Survivors include husband, Robert Keifling of Loves Park; son, Mike Thompson of Elbert, Colo.; daughters, Jane (Doug) Bennett of Machesney Park and Kelli (Troy) Boyer of Loves Park; grandchildren, Rick (Allaine) Gibson of Roscoe, Shelly (Joe) Ruggiero of Florida, Melissa (Terry) Adkins and Alecia (Jeff) Jones of Rockford and Megan Boyer of Loves Park; six great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by parents; daughter, Barbara Lundquist; brother, Bill Coons; and great-grandson, Noah Adkins. Service at 10 a.m. Friday, May 9, in Sunset Funeral Home, 8800 N. Alpine Road; the Dr. Rev. Ed Hallsten from North Park Covenant Church will officiate. Private burial in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Visitation from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, May 8, in the funeral home. Memorials to the family.
