James Oldfield Obituary
James "Oats" Oldfield Jr., 77, was a resident of Rockford for over 25 years. He was born July 4, 1939; and passed away at 10:18 p.m. April 3, 2017. Preceded in death by his parents, Jim Oldfield Sr. and Olwyn Lewis. He is survived by four children, Don (Cowboy) Oldfield, Jim (Outlaw) Oldfield, Serena (Sissy) Oldfield and Alona Oldfield "Zamora", and four grandchildren, Kyle Gonzalez "Zamora", Nolan Zamora, Michael Smith and Michelle Smith. His hobbies included reading, soaking up the sun, enjoying a glass of red wine or a can of PBR with his Brothers, riding his motorcycle and traveling the world! Oats was a founding member of the Hells Angels Motorcycle Club charter in New York City. He was a proud outstanding member of the Hells Angels for almost 48 years. He became a Hells Angel December 5th, 1969.
Visitation from 1 to 5 p.m. Saturday, April 15, at Honquest Funeral Home, 4311 N Mulford Road, Loves Park, IL 61111, with service at 5 p.m.

Oats, 14 years ago ths month you married me to my husband, Will. One of the best days of my life! The day the Witch and the Christian were married by the Jewish Hells Angel! A well rounded event! It couldn't have happened with out you... thank you my friend. The shortest ceremony in history! Lol. we will miss you and your stories.
