The last time I saw my cousin Markie he had green hair. I got second hand information about him & what was going on in his life through his biological mom, Theresa Boutin (Granzow), my aunt. I took for granted I would see him again one day. Guess not. I'll always remember my cousin. He didn't this. My heart will always be with him.

I did not know Mark personally, but Sharon has shown me photos of him, his children and wife. He always had a smile on his face. I could see that he was full of love for his family.
My heart is heavy for all who are feeling his loss, and may the memories you have of Mark bring you comfort in the coming years.

Although I had roughly 500 things that I wish I could have articulated to family and friends of Mark, I spent today's ceremony being awkward and small-talking to people who I feel very close to. I'm not very good at these sorts of things.
What I will say now, for what it's worth, my heart goes out to Heather, Colin, Hannah, Delilah, and Adyson.. as well as the entire family.
Mark was not only a great guy, but a friend and a brother to me. Even with his issues, he still managed to help out in times of need. I am forever grateful to have had the chance to know him and I will miss him deeply.
