Michael T. Faketty 1947—2016
Michael Terrance Faketty, 69, long time resident of Durand IL, born July 21st, 1947 in Manistique MI, went home to his Heavenly Father on September 23rd, 2016. He joined his loving wife Katherine D. (Hackworth) Faketty who passed away just 6 days prior to his death. Michael was a loving Father and Grandfather. He was also an avid Chicago Bears fan and a lifetime impassioned motorcycle rider. He will be missed dearly by those who knew and loved him. He was preceded in death by both of his parents, Michael and Sarah (Stone) Faketty, his brothers Patrick and Kelly, and his granddaughter Tiara. He is survived by his children, William (Julie) Perron, Regina Joslin, Michael S. (Angela) Faketty, Patrick (Jennifer) Faketty, Sarah (Jacob) Montoya and Elizabeth (Seth) Jensen. His 16 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. His Brother Daniel Faketty and sisters Kathy White, Colleen Faketty, Marnie (John) Strom, Leah (Bob) Skoglund, Sarah (Jack) Schuetter and many nieces and nephews. A private burial service will be held on Saturday, November 12th, 2016.
