Michael Spraggins Obituary

MICHAEL E. SPRAGGINS, 47 ROCKFORD - Michael E. Spraggins, 47, went home to be with the Lord. Michael was born February 11, 1968, in Saint Louis, Missouri; the son of Helen Malone and John Spraggins. He enjoyed many social activities including playing pool, cooking, and dart tournaments. Michael also enjoyed spending time with family and friends, especially grandchildren. He was a loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. Michael leaves to cherish his loving memories, his son, Lee Michael Spraggins; two daughters, Maranique and Marecha Glover; five grandchildren; two sisters, Tina and Alice Anderson; and three brothers, Donnie Ray Anderson, John Spraggins and Stanley Thomas. Services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, June 19, 2015, at Kingdom Authority, 518 N Court Street, Rockford, IL. Burial in Greenwood Cemetery. Arrangements were completed by Carl E. Ponds Funeral Home, 2429 W. State St.
