Randall Espy Obituary
Randall Lynn Espy, 65, of Rockford passed away Thursday, August 4, 2016, at his home. Randy was born August 4, 1951, in Albia, Iowa, the son of Delmar and Ione Espy. He spent most of his life working and traveling for CamCar Textron. Randy was a member of the Blackhawk Athletic Club, Eagles Club, The Svithiod Club and the White Eagles. He enjoyed golfing and was an avid Cubs fan. Randy is survived by his son, Todd M. Espy; daughter, Kelly L. Espy; special friend, Gale Graeff; brothers, Larry (Charlotte), Lanny (Margaret) and Paul Edward (Shirley); as well as several nieces and nephews. Randy was preceded in death by his parents; sister, M. Annie Johnson; brothers, John R. Espy and D."Laddie" Espy.
A celebration of life for Randy will be from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, August 27th, at the Blackhawk Athletic Club, 2023 Broadway, Rockford, IL 61104. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Randy's name may be made to the Cancer Society and to the United Cerebral Palsy. Condolences may be sent to www.advantagefunerals.com

I met Randy while we were both employed at Camcar Textron. He was one of the good guys; a knowledgeable hard working individual, had time to teach others, always had a good word, smile, and laugh. It is sad that he has passed, but will be remembered as a good man with a kind sole.
