Sorry for your loss. I will always remember my annual trips to the Ogle County fair when I was a child because of Aunt Ruby and Uncle Horace. There was one story about my mom and Aunt Ruby when they were little that was repeated to me several times growing up that I would like to share. Aunt Ruby and mom were playing ball, mom was the pitcher and Aunt Ruby the batter, my mom thought it would be funny to throw a rotten egg instead of a ball to my Aunt Ruby . Not understanding physics apparently, mom ended up wearing the rotten egg and my Aunt Ruby stood there laughing and of course holding her nose. Being so close in age there was probably lots more stories I wasn't told. May you find peace and comfort as you go through this difficult time. Connie Frihart Stanfill
