Adam Husband Obituary

SALEM, Mass. - Adam J. Husband, 33, of Salem, Mass., died peacefully in his sleep on Thursday, May 2, 2013, in Natick, Mass. Adam was born on May 6, 1979, in Natick. He lived in Medway, Mass., then moved to Springfield, Vt. He graduated from Springfield High School in 1997 where he excelled in three sports. After graduation, Adam worked in commercial real estate, and for the past several years, was a medical device sales rep.

Known as "Hus" by his closest friends, Adam had a special way of sharing his charisma and charm with everyone he knew. He cherished his family and friends, and had a generous, caring heart. He will be missed more than words can say. Adam enjoyed skiing and playing softball, but most of all, he loved the game of golf. He worked at Crown Point Country Club in Springfield, Vt., during high school summers, and later became a member for a period of time. He was so proud of his hometown course.

Adam was predeceased by his father, Stuart Husband of North Springfield, Vt.; and his grandfather, John Grady of Natick, Mass. He is survived by his devoted mother, Linda Husband of North Springfield, Vt.; his brother, AJ Husband and wife Janelle Husband, nephew Grady Husband, niece Keira Husband, all of Concord, Calif.; his grandmother, Lee Grady of Natick, Mass.; his aunt, Helen Thompson of Boston, Mass.; his cousins, Mindy Thompson of Newton, Mass., Matthew Thompson of Chicago, Ill., and John Thompson, wife Helen and children Sophie and Anna of Manhattan, N.Y.; and a multitude of friends.

I am so sorry for the loss of Adam. I remeber him well, with one of my favorite memories being of him informing Mrs. Esti (our math teacher in high school) that the jockey ridding a horse looks under his elbow to see where the other riders were located. Due to the puzzled look on her face, Adam proceeded to simulate a jockey riding a hourse on the connected chair/desk and brought smiles and laughter to everyone in the room. I wish the best to his family and friends during this rough time.
