Brandon Barrett Obituary
He was born Feb. 22, 1993, in Rutland, the son of Brad and Malinda (Kemp) Barrett.
He graduated in 2011 from Fair Haven Union High School, where he played football and wrestled for the Fair Haven Slaters, and attended Stafford Tech Center were he was enrolled in electrical and plumbing.
Mr. Barrett was employed by Killington as a snowmaker.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, motor cross, bow hunting and bow shoots. He had been a New England Motor Cross Champion.
Survivors include his parents, a brother, Brad Barrett, and paternal grandfather Reginald Barrett, all of Benson; maternal grandparents Nell and Thomas Tomlin, of Buna, Texas; many aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was predeceased by his grandmother, Veronica Barrett, in 2016.
Calling hours will be from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 22, at Durfee Funeral Home, 119 North Main St. in Fair Haven.
The memorial service will be held at a later date in Benson.
Memorial contributions may be made to United Church of Benson, P.O. Box 186, Benson, VT 05731.

I miss Brandon so much. We became close working at Carris Reels and remained friends when I moved to kansas. We face time and sent pictures to create a laugh. The ones that knew him,grieve. The ones who didnt, missed out on knowing him. Love u Brandon and BA.

I was pretty close to Brandon before I left for Kansas in 2012. We worked at Carris Reels together and he was such a good kid. Never seen him get mad or do anything wrong to someone. I remember he broke his leg a while ago and he still had me go fishing with him, in the cold and some rain. Lol i miss talking to him since I left Vermont. To the Barrett family, you raised good kids and I am so sorry for your loss.

We have so many fond memories of Brandon and the rest of his Benson kindergarten 12 grade class. I had the pleasure of coaching him in T-ball and 4 and 5th grade basketball. What fun times we had. I can still see him on the mound pitching in youth baseball with his mom and dad cheering him on. For his family, please know that there is a God in heaven that loves him more than we ever could. May his peace surround the Barrett family at this difficult time.
