This will seem odd but i met Dexter almost 30 years ago through a friend of his, Brent Farrell when i briefly lived in Rutland, For some reason i thought about him and said, let me see if hes online anywhere. Needless to say i was shocked and saddened when i came across this article. Truly one of the gentlest human beings i have ever met. I am sorry about your loss but your son made an impact on a lot of people and certainly me in a matter of months. One of a kind. Seeing concerts with them at Castleton St. will always be a great memory.

My prayers and sympathies to you. Dexter was always a funny, kind, gentle soul way back so many years ago in high school. I always enjoyed our friendship, even when he tried to teach me to drive stick shift (yikes!). May you watch over all of us Mounties, Dexter!

Dexy....
I'm so sorry to hear you had some painful final years and that you left out of here at such a young age. It's been a very long time since we talked, but so odd that you crossed my mind just the other day. Maybe you stopped by on your way out of here.
Sorry I didn't keep in touch over the years. We had some fun back in the day and I could always count on you to partner up on the hunt for some kind of crazy adventure.
You're a good guy with a gentle heart and I know you have peace and joy in heaven.
Your buddy,
Jon
