Alejandro Basos Obituary
Beloved husband of Rose B. Basos and father of Stacy Basos. Loving cousin of Dr. Soledad Gumahad and her husband Arsenio, Rose Balagat and her husband Connie, and Remy Torres all of Florida. A native of Bangued, Abra, Philippines aged 95 years. Mr. Basos was a member of St. Peter Parish, American Legion Magellan Post 604, the Filipino Community of Sacramento, Filipino Family Fraternity, Abranian Association of Sacramento and a resident of Sacramento for 26 years. Mr. Basos served in the US Navy during WWII. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, January 30, 2003 at 10:00 AM at St. Peter Parish, 6210 McMahon Drive, Sacramento. Recitation of the Rosary will be Wednesday, January 29, 2003 at 6:30 PM at the Sacramento Memorial Lawn Garden Chapel, 6100 Stockton Blvd., Sacramento. Visitation will be from 9:00 AM to 6:30 PM, Wednesday, January 29, 2003. Interment will be at St. Mary's Cemetery, 6700-21st Street, Sacramento.
