Benjamin F. Cliff

Ben Cliff, born May 10, 1920 in Moscow, Pennsylvania, died March 5, 2013 at age 92, in Sacramento, California. Preceded in death by his wife of sixty-two years, Doris Cliff, and sister Virginia Groves of Scranton, Penn. Ben is survived by his daughter Kay Sevcik, son-in-law Charles Sevcik, grandson Zach Sevcik of Sacramento and grandson Cliff Sevcik of Seminole, Fl, brother-in-law Yates Herring, sister-in-law Voncile Herring (Dwiot), and nephew Tim Herring, all of Malone, Fl. Also surviving is niece, Polly Roberts of Columbus, Ga. After a thirty-two year career in the USAF, traveling and living in the U.S. and Europe, Ben retired to Sacramento where he enjoyed fishing and travels within the state. The family will hold a private ceremony at the graveside. Donations can be made in Ben's name to the American Heart Association.
