Son of Rosanna Roots-Arroyo-Lujan and Benjamin Vega. Brother to Rosanna Lujan, Vanessa Rivas, Tina Vega, Rosenda Vega, Gracie Vega, Victor Vega and Angelo Vega. Grandson of Richard & Ramona Lujan. Leaves many aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. Preceded in death by grandparents, Ruben & Caroline Vega. Funeral Mass Thursday March 11th at St. Peters, 6210 McMahan Dr. Interment private.

Rosanna, Becky and Ramona, I'm sorry to hear about Benji. You are always in my prayers. Lil. Rosanna and Vanessa, don't forget that your brother will always be with you. Benji is now in a safe place watching over all of us along w/ Mama Lola and the rest of our family. Keep them in your hearts. Remember the good times and learn from the bad. Love you!!

a childhood friend of rosannas and rebecca lujan and i knew benji from the old neighborhood, we shared alot of fun times together, so very sorry to hear of your loss, i too, have a child that age and can't imagine the hurt and loss you must be feeling, be strong and trust in god, that you will see your loving son once again.

Even though I didn't have an opportunity to know Benji, he is my second cousin. I am first cousin to his father, Benjamin.
I am deeply saddened by Benji's tragic death and wish to express my heartfelt condolences to my cousin Benjamin, Benji's mother and all of his siblings.
I too know what it's like to lose a brother long before it should be their time to leave this world.

I am Benji's 2nd cousin Brenda, Caroline is my 1st cousin and my Mom is Tonia (who recently passed away on 02/23/04). I am Benjamin's 3rd cousin. I personaly didn't know your son, but we share the same blood line which makes us FAMILY.
You have my deepest sympathy. Cry and do what you must to greive but find your peace knowing that your Son will no longer suffer. For he is not alone he's with family living in the spiritual life in the kingdom of heaven, the eternal life that we here on earth are preparing for. May the Lord bless you in your trying times and may he bless you with strength for you must be strong for the other children. Put all of your hurt and pain in Gods hands he will help you cope with your suffering.
