Carmicheal, California - Carol Leffingwell passed away July 7, 2022 at 12:10 p.m. with her family by her side. Carol was survived by her brother, John Jacobs and family in Metropolis, IL and Mike Jacobs, Ocean Springs, MS. She was also survived by her late brother, Harry (Winkie) Jacobs, Metropolis. She had many nieces and nephews. Carol has three children, Stephanie Black, Russell Black, Chad Black; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. Carol was a homemaker for 63 yrs. in Carmichael, CA. Carol was born in Detroit, MI in 1936. We will be having a service for Carol in Metropolis, IL at Memorial Gardens, tentative November 18. Friends and family welcome. We will be having a Celebration of Life in Citrus Heights, CA, tentative August 13. This will be family and friends.
