Mr Axelgard was my 8th grade home room teacher at Del Paso Jr High. He was a wonderful guy....so warm and kind and patient. He also taught a class in Activities of Daily Living which included how to make out a check. I think of him often when I pay bills. I have a feeling he would be amused by this and I bet he would remember me, too! I am now 63 and consider Mr Axelgard as one of the best teachers I ever had.
He taught us well and we loved him for it.

Mr. Axelgard was very good to my deceased now husband Kelton Gibson. My husband worked for him at Rio Linda as Head Custodian.
He was also my principal.

To the family of Mr. Axelgard: My sincere condolences to you. May he be resting peacefully. Mr. Axelgard was my Jr. High School Principal in 1977. He was always kind, friendly, approachable and caring. I remember his great height and great smile most of all. God bless your family.
