Christian Maynard Obituary

Christian Richard Maynard

February 13, 1943 - May 12, 2025

Sacramento, California - Chris R. Maynard was born in Paris, France. His father was killed in a war shortly after he was born. Chris's mother Gaetane remarried to George Maynard who was in the U.S. Air Force and Chris was adopted by him. Due to his father's military transfers Chris attended schools in Paris, Germany and the U.S. Chris had dual citizenships through out his life with France and the U.S. through out his life. He was drafted by the United States Army and served the Army well during his dates of service that ended 1967. Chris was happily married to Leona (Lea) for 58 years. He was very proud of his son Parrish who has a remarkable career. Chris was very competitive with his friends when paying golf, bowling, shooting pool, darts and board games. He was the Service Manager at River View International for 30 years and he enjoyed the employees and the management team. He thought it was the best job he ever had. Chris was buried privately at the Sacramento Valley National Cemetary in Dixon.
