Memories and Condolences
for Craig MULL

Not sure what to say?

May 24, 2011

Dear loving family of Craig Mull, We do not know each other, but I wanted to share a small miracle that happened to me this evening. With very little food at home and no money left in my account, I decided to take my children to BJs because I was given a gift card from one of my students. We enjoyed ourselves and felt blessed with the gift. When paying the bill, we were told that someone had already taken care of our bill, and there was a card stating that it was done so in memory of Craig Mull. I wanted to take the opportunity to thank whoever it was that was so generous in Craig's memory. My boys and I left knowing that God is watching over us and we will get through this difficult time. Craig Mull has touched my family, and I thank you all for that!

Dear Liz, Lloyd, Anthony and Jeremy,
We wanted to put a lovely posting up about how much Craig meant to us but the tears just kept welling up. We just want you to know that we love you and will always be there for you. We think of Craig every single day and miss him so much. We are better people because Craig was in our lives. We feel Craig with us everyday and know he is in Heaven watching over us. I have not see Craig since we graduated from Folsom High in 1977, but I still have fond memories of him. Summers spent playing Babe Ruth baseball at the "old" high school field are still etched in my mind, as are the days spent in "Pushrod" Paul Cammerers auto shop class. I lived across the street (on Fargo Way) from him, just down the street from Mike Johnson, until my parents got divorced in 1965, and we moved away, but later returned to live in "little" Folsom. I never saw Craig get mad, or get into a fight, as he was easy-going, friendly, honest, and a great family man. Craig was a real stand-up kind of guy. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends.

Although I didn't know Craig very well as a fellow Co-worker & Sales Rep I had the opportunity to talk with him over a few beers at the Folsom Bowling Alley a few times when I just happen to be there. I always came away from our conversations as a guy who loved life as well as his family & friends. I wrote this saying on his coffin at his Memorial "You'll be missed but NEVER forgotten"

I met Craig on June 3, 1988...the day I came to work here at Sierra Office Supplies...there are just not enough words to describe this kind, very generous man. He was a friend to all of us who had the honor of working with him. I will never forget the many Thanksgiving feasts he and Liz would provide for the employees at Sierra! Craig was a fantastic cook! Loved his sense of humor and his "mornin'" as he walked down the halls, or his "it's a beautiful thing.." will forever be missed here amongst his co-workers. He will definitely live on in the hearts of many..my condolences to Liz, the boys and the entire extended Mull and White families..it was my pleasure and honor to have known Craig~

My name is James Murdock, son of Bill and Andrea Murdock of Folsom, and I wish to offer yet another great perspective on Craig's life. Craig is 8 years my senior and always had nothing but nice things to say to me. It is easy for an older boy to pick on the little ones but Craig was nothing but kind to me. Always laughing, joking, smiling and just overall having a great time. He's the kind of guy everyone wants to be around and be like. I am sorry for your loss and my family will pray for yours.

I think after reading what is on the guest book so far and seeing all the people at the service I know that Craig was the same with everyone. I have worked with Craig at Sierra and can ecko what everyone else is saying about him. His smile, his laughter, his loud voice. We had many talks about our his kids and the sports they played, his eyes just lit up when he talked about them. He will be missed, and I thank God he was a part of my work life.
We will all miss you at Sierra

Liz and Family:

I worked with Craig at Sierra Office Supply for over 10 years. During that time, Craig always managed to brighten my day. Even on the days where he was obviously in a rush, he always had time for a big smile and a greeting. I remember many times hearing him walk down the hallway shouting out, "Mornin'" to everyone that crossed his path.

In Websters, under Generous, there should be a picture of Craig. Pizza's, dinners, hotel rooms, nothing was too much for Craig when it came to generously showing the people he knew, how much he appreciated them.

I'll never forget the times that he treated my wife Suzi and I to several trips to Reno. They were such fun and we looked forward to it each year that we were fortunate enough to share the time with him.

God Bless you Craig, and God Bless your family.

You are, and will always be missed.

Sincerely,

Dan Paul

Liz, my condolences go out to you and your family. What a shock!!! Man it seems like just months ago we were all in high school together. My best memories of Craig were, he could get anyone laughing, even if you were down, he always had a smile. Stay strong Liz!!!!

My inspiration, my friend, my stepson. I try to understand why and find comfort in knowing that Craig's loving and generous heart, caring soul, honesty, integrity, humor and laughter, sincerity, dignity and pride and love for his family and friends were gifts beyond measure and lessons for us all. He taught us well and it's up to us now to carry on in his stead, to share all he taught us, to open our hearts, be the best we can be, and to love unconditionally. We are all so blessed to have had him in our lives. Liz, Lloyd, Anthony, Jeremy, Melanie and Laura, I am here for you. Craig, hug your Dad for me.

Craig was a man of quality character who had a very powerful effect on everyone he met... a generous heart, a robust laugh, an act of kindness, a charming smile, an authentic spirit, a magnanimous soul.

Craig, my dear friend you will be deeply missed.

Liz, Lloyd, Anthony, Jeremy, you all will be in my thoughts and prayers for many days to come.

All of our prayers are extended to the Mull family. Craig was always such a kick in the pants and a person I will never forget. His laugh and his humor made it such a joy to be around him. I remember as a child and adult the times I shared with him and I will always remember his contagious charm and wit!

My heart goes out to the Mull Family. I remember a little boy back around 1965 who played catcher and the catching gear was too big for him to wear but he held his own and got the job done catching a couple of my "no hitters" in T-Shirt Pee Wee ball at Theodore Judah. He will forever be the tough kid with the big heart only to be outdone by his class and outstanding personality.
I wish I would have seen him more but whenever I did see him it seemed like only yesterday we were playing baseball in a little town called Folsom.
I know both his parents were very proud of what he achieved as a Husband, Father and Human Being in this Earth Life.
Gods Speed my friend
I along with many people will miss you.
I hope the pain of Craig's loss is lessened by fond memories of the past that will live on for ever in our hearts.

Our lives were so much more with Craig a part of them. He was the "patriach" of brother-in-laws of the "White" family. He was the one who would always do whatever it took to bring family and friends together, he never left anyone out no matter what. The Christmas celebrations at his place were so memorable and elaborate. He and Liz always made sure everyone had a seat, plenty to eat and drink. He will be missed by many, many people. Our world is so much more richer because of Craig Mull, RIP, dear brother.

Craig was one of the Finest, Kindest & Giving human beings I have ever known. I met Craig 19 years ago when he became part of SNMF and I began my new venture in purchasing. We changed the entire process of purchasing for SN. What a pleasure he was to work with and become one of his friends. Meeting his family, the parties in Reno, many many lunches, what wonderful memories. It was an absolute honor to know Craig Mull. My love, prayers and thoughts are with you Liz, Lloyd, Anthony, Jeremy, Laura, Melanie, family and friends.

Craig was someone who always responded to your requests and went the extra mile. When our Sutter "Forms" team went electronic and we no longer met every month, I missed Craig's humor, warm spirit, and smile. His physical presence may be missed, but his spirit will endure for years with those who were blessed to know Craig.
