We send our love and deepest sympathy to the family and hold you all in our prayers during this difficult time. We know how loved Dana was, wish we had had the time to know him better. He will still be with us in spirit. blessings, Sue Blondell and Richard Crookham

Dana, I never will forget how your face lit up the first time you saw my barn in Oregon and the excitement you had in your voice giving me all sorts of advice and ideas for it. Your love for that life always inspired me and I only wish we had more of that time with you. In lieu of our attendance to your memorial service at the church, I will be taking a tribute horseback ride out at Folsom Lake and drinking to you! You are so greatly missed. ---Kristi

Dana was my first Equipment Specialist (GS) Supervisor, who was a very nice man and great Boss at McClellan Air Force Base.

I first met Dana at American River College in 1958 in the student lounge. He was playing the piano, “The Bumble Boogie,” as I recall. A small group of us would meet between classes on most days, eventually forming the FR's, complete with motto and logo. As time went on we lost touch and our merry band faded into oblivion. In 2000 contact via e-mail was reestablished and a search was on to locate as many of our old gang as we could. The first FR reunion was held in 2001 and has continued each year. Dana always figured prominently with his guitar, vocals and stories. He was one of the best and this old friend is going to sorely miss him.
To Cleone and the family I send the most heartfelt condolences.
