Daniel Long Obituary

Daniel Richard Long, passed into eternity at age 65 in Citrus Heights, CA on Monday, February 22, 2016. Born in Berkeley, CA to Nancy and Gordon Long. A man of many talents, he was a music lover, an animal lover, a web technologist, a genealogist, and a brother in the Knights of Columbus. Formerly of Sunnyvale, Daniel is survived by aunts and uncles Genevieve and Gerry Pierzinski of Carmichael, Marjorie Long of Sacramento, Mary Morgan of Merced, and Edward Decker of Napa, by many cousins, by his siblings Steven Long, David Long and Linda Smith, and by his beloved children Adam Long and Anna Hourihan. Funeral Mass to be held on Friday February 26 10 AM at Holy Family Catholic Church, Citrus Heights. Arrangements by W.F. Gormley & Sons.

Dan was a good friend. I would stop by a visit with him on my nightly walk in our complex. He will be missed by many who knew him. My Condolences to the family. Rest in Peace dear friend, I hope you get to see the Fire Fall at Yosemite from Heaven.
