Here is the song I wrote for my Dad when he was diagnosed with vascular dementia. RIP Dad.Love U.

The Hero You Are

V1
So many things I want to say
Reaching out for another way
Can you still hear me?
Dreams of memories that whisper...
Always remember me

V2
Take me back to the days gone by
So much joy that I feel inside
Can you still hear me?
Visions of the past that whisper...
Always remember me

Chorus
All I´ve ever needed or wanted you to be
Is the hero that you are to me
Inspired by you to reach out and achieve
Is the hero that you are to me

Bridge
I get my strength from you
And bravery that always sees me through
My heart beats with empathy for all life
In every breath, every moment that I´m alive

Chorus
All I´ve ever needed or wanted you to be
Is the hero that you are to me
Inspired by you to reach out and achieve
Is the hero that you are to me
All I´ve ever needed or wanted you to be
Is the hero that you are to me
Inspired by you to reach out and achieve
Is the hero that you are to me

Uncle Dave was a great man and one of a kind. Funny, kind, smart and handsome. I loved talking about movies with him and watching him walk his fur baby Dom. He will be greatly missed. Sending lots of love to the Boles family.
